सद्यः प्राणि-पवित्राणि
जगतां मङ्गलानि च
क-कारः कमला-कान्त
ऋ-कारो राम इत्य् अपि
sadyaḥ prāṇi-pavitrāṇi
jagatāṃ maṅgalāni ca
ka-kāraḥ kamalā-kānta
ṛ-kāro rāma ity api
sadyaḥ—at once; prāṇi—the living entities; pavitrāṇi—purifying; jagatām—of the universes; maṅgalāni—the auspiciousness; ca—also; ka-kāraḥ—the letter k; kamalā-kāntaḥ—the lover of the goddess of fortune; ṛ-kāraḥ—the letter ṛ; rāmaḥ—the enjoyer; iti—thus; api—also;
English translation of verse 1.15.28:
His names at once purify the living entities. His names are the auspiciousness of all the universes. In His name the letter K stands for Kamalā-kānta (the husband of the goddess of fortune). Ṛ stands for Rāma (the supreme enjoyer).
