The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.38, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-गोप्य ऊचुः
न योग्यासि यशोदे त्वं
बालं लालयितुं मनाक्
न घृणा ते क्वचिद् दृष्टा
क्रुद्धासि कथितेन वै

śrī-gopya ūcuḥ
na yogyāsi yaśode tvaṃ
bālaṃ lālayituṃ manāk
na ghṛṇā te kvacid dṛṣṭā
kruddhāsi kathitena vai

śrī-gopyaḥ ūcuḥ—the gopīs said; na—not; yogyāsuitable; asi—you are; yaśode—O Yaśodā; tvam—you; bālam—infant; lālayitum—to love; manāk—at all; na—not; ghṛṇākindness; te—of you; kvacit—at all; dṛṣṭāseen; kruddhācruel; asi—you are; kathitenaby the words; vai—indeed.

English translation of verse 1.14.38:

The gopīs said: Yaśodā, you have no right to embrace this child. You have no kindness. Your own words show how cruel you are.
