The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.37, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 14 (The Liberation of Shakatasura and Trinavarta) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

तत्-पृष्ठ-स्थं शिशुं तुष्णीं
रुदन्त्यो गोपिकास् ततः
ददृशुर् युगपत् सर्वा
नीत्वा मात्रे ददुर् जगुः

tat-pṛṣṭha-sthaṃ śiśuṃ tuṣṇīṃ
rudantyo gopikās tataḥ
dadṛśur yugapat sarvā
nītvā mātre dadur jaguḥ

tat-pṛṣṭha-stham—on the back; śiśum—the infant; tuṣṇīm—silent; rudantyaḥ—wailing; gopikāḥgopī; tataḥthen; dadṛśuḥ—saw; yugapatat once; sarvāḥall; nītvā—bringing; mātre—to His mother; daduḥ—gave; jaguḥ—spoke.

English translation of verse 1.14.37:

The weeping gopīs saw the infant sitting silently on the demon's back. They quickly brought Him to His mother, gave Him to her, and then spoke.
