The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.1.162, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 162 of Adi-khanda chapter 1—“Summary of Lord Gaura’s Pastimes”.

শেষ-খণ্ডে, প্রভু পুনঃ আইলা গৌড-দেশে মথুরা দেখিব বলি’ আনন্দ বিশেষে ॥ ১৬২ ॥
शेष-खण्डे, प्रभु पुनः आइला गौड-देशे मथुरा देखिब बलि’ आनन्द विशेषे ॥ १६२ ॥
śeṣa-khaṇḍe, prabhu punaḥ āilā gauḍa-deśe mathurā dekhiba bali’ ānanda viśeṣe || 162 ||
sesa-khande, prabhu punah aila gauda-dese mathura dekhiba bali’ ananda visese (162)
English translation:
(162) In the Antya-khaṇḍa the Lord returns to Bengal while traveling in ecstasy to see Mathurā.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word gauḍa-deśa in this verse refers to Śrī Navadvīpa and the places north of Navadvīpa such as Rāmakeli (the site of Dabira Khāsa and Sākara Mallika’s office and the capitol of the king of Gauḍa), which is in the present day district of Maldah.
