The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 1.3.27, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. The Brihad-bhagavatamrita, although an indepent Sanskrit work, covers the essential teachings of the Shrimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavata-purana). This is verse 1.3.27 contained in Chapter 3—Prapancatita (beyond the Material Plane)—of Part one (prathama-khanda).

Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration, Word-for-word and English translation of verse 1.3.27:

अतो ब्रह्मादि-संप्रार्थ्य-मुक्ति-दानाधिकारिताम् ।
भवते भगवत्यै च दुर्गायै भगवान् अदात् ॥ २७ ॥

ato brahmādi-saṃprārthya-mukti-dānādhikāritām |
bhavate bhagavatyai ca durgāyai bhagavān adāt || 27 ||

Therefore, Bhagavān bestowed upon you and Bhagavatī Śrī Durgā the authority to grant liberation, that which Brahmā and other such demigods pray for.

Commentary: Dig-darśinī-ṭīkā with Bhāvānuvāda

(By Śrīla Sanātana Gosvāmī himself including a deep purport of that commentary)

Therefore you ignore your own devotees and take the side of the devotees of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Moreover, Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa has given you, that is, Śri Śiva and Bhagavatī Śrī Pārvatī, the right to grant liberation (mukti-dānādhikāritām) that such demigods as Śrī Brahmā beg for fervently.
