Yaugika (यौगिक).—Based on derivation; etymological; one of the kinds of words रूढ, यौगिक, योगरूढ (rūḍha, yaugika, yogarūḍha) and यौगिकरूढ (yaugikarūḍha); cf. सैन्धवशब्दो लवणे उभयलिङ्गः। यौगिकस्या-भिधेयवल्लिङ्गम् (saindhavaśabdo lavaṇe ubhayaliṅgaḥ| yaugikasyā-bhidheyavalliṅgam) l Kas. on P.II.4.31.
