Source: Wisdom Library: Dharma-śāstraSandhinī (सन्धिनी) is a Sanskrit word commonly referring to “a cow that gives milk only once a day”. The word is used throughout Dharmaśāstra literature such as the Manusmṛti. (also see the Manubhāṣya verse 5.8)
