1) To take away, put or lay aside; place down; अर्भकं कस्मादवहृतं भवति (arbhakaṃ kasmādavahṛtaṃ bhavati) Nir.

2) To hold, contain; कुडवमवहरति (kuḍavamavaharati) Sk.

3) To throw or knock down (Ved.).
