This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 76.117

ऐश्वर्यहानिम् अनुस्मरन्तो ऐश्वर्यं च विचिन्तेन्तो ।
मम कासि अप्रसादं गत्वा त्वं लहु प्रसादेहि ॥ ११७ ॥

aiśvaryahānim anusmaranto aiśvaryaṃ ca vicintento |
mama kāsi aprasādaṃ gatvā tvaṃ lahu prasādehi || 117 ||

Through thinking of loss of sovereignty and reflecting on sovereignty, he does that which displeases me. So quickly go and appease him. (117)
