This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 24.12

सन्निपाताः त्रयो आसि मङ्गलस्य महर्षिणो ।
क्षीणाश्रवाणां विरजानां शान्तचित्तानुतापितां ॥ १२ ॥

sannipātāḥ trayo āsi maṅgalasya maharṣiṇo |
kṣīṇāśravāṇāṃ virajānāṃ śāntacittānutāpitāṃ || 12 ||

The great seer Mangala held three assemblies of disciples, who were rid of the ashravas, passionless, calm, and austere. (12)
