The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संविदप्रतिघाकारा यदि सप्रतिघात्मकम् ।
चालयेदचलिष्यत्तद्दूरमम्भो यदिच्छया ॥ १६ ॥

saṃvidapratighākārā yadi sapratighātmakam |
cālayedacaliṣyattaddūramambho yadicchayā || 16 ||

If it be possible for the imperceptible perceptive soul, to put in motion the intestinal and tactual entrails of the body; then it may be equally possible for the thirsty soul, to draw the distant water to it.
