The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

सर्व एवाब्धयः शुष्का महावाताः पुरःस्थिताः ।
अङ्गारराशितां यातं भूमण्डलमशेषतः ॥ ६२ ॥

sarva evābdhayaḥ śuṣkā mahāvātāḥ puraḥsthitāḥ |
aṅgārarāśitāṃ yātaṃ bhūmaṇḍalamaśeṣataḥ || 62 ||

The seas were dried up, and the earth was full of burning embers on all sides; and there rose a strong gale, which wafted the ashes all away.
