The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.29.111

तनोति चैष्यतो बीजं त्वदनुस्मरणं प्रभो ।
ज्ञानामृतैककलशो धृतिज्योत्स्नानिशाकरः ॥ १११ ॥

tanoti caiṣyato bījaṃ tvadanusmaraṇaṃ prabho |
jñānāmṛtaikakalaśo dhṛtijyotsnāniśākaraḥ || 111 ||

Lord! thy remembrance expands the seed of our desire, thou art the jar of the nectar of our knowledge, and thou art the reservoir of patience, as the moon is the receptacle of cooling beams.
