The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अनारतजगज्जालनवनिर्माणकारिणी ।
इयं मे पार्श्वगा माया स्वेन्द्रजालविलासिनी ॥ ४७ ॥

anāratajagajjālanavanirmāṇakāriṇī |
iyaṃ me pārśvagā māyā svendrajālavilāsinī || 47 ||

There is the other companion of Vishnu called Maya or illusion, which is ever busy in the creation of worlds upon worlds, and in stretching a magical enchantment all about them.
