The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

आपातालमनन्तात्मा पूरितोऽम्भोधिरम्बुभिः ।
आब्रह्मस्तम्बपर्यन्तं जगदापूर्णमात्मना ॥ २४ ॥

āpātālamanantātmā pūrito'mbhodhirambubhiḥ |
ābrahmastambaparyantaṃ jagadāpūrṇamātmanā || 24 ||

The spirit of God fills the universe, as the water of the ocean fills the deep (patala); and stretches from the highest heaven (empyrean), to the lowest abyss of the infernal regions.
