The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

यथाशास्त्रमनुद्वेगमाचरन्को न सिद्धिभाक् ।
यथाशास्त्रं विहरता त्वरा कार्या न सिद्धिषु ॥ ४९ ॥

yathāśāstramanudvegamācaranko na siddhibhāk |
yathāśāstraṃ viharatā tvarā kāryā na siddhiṣu || 49 ||

Abiding patiently by the Sastra, without hastening for success; and perfecting one's self by long practice, produce the ripe fruits of consummation.
