The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

बोधयित्वा यथायुक्तं सा तमिन्द्रमथाङ्गना ।
अहल्यानिकटं रात्र्यामानयामास सत्वरम् ॥ १८ ॥

bodhayitvā yathāyuktaṃ sā tamindramathāṅganā |
ahalyānikaṭaṃ rātryāmānayāmāsa satvaram || 18 ||

The clever lady used her persuasions as far as she could, and then succeeded to bring with her this Indra, and present him before her royal mistress forthwith.
