The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अन्तर्गतजगज्जालोऽप्येषोऽणुः साम्यमत्यजन् ।
स्थितोऽन्तस्थबृहद्वृक्षं बीजं भाण्डोदरे यथा ॥ ९४ ॥

antargatajagajjālo'pyeṣo'ṇuḥ sāmyamatyajan |
sthito'ntasthabṛhadvṛkṣaṃ bījaṃ bhāṇḍodare yathā || 94 ||

As a pot contains in it, the seed, with a huge tree within its cell, so does the divine soul contain the atom of the intellect, containing the chains of worlds.
