The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.9; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
साम्येन भीति-विधुरेण विधीयमान-
भक्ति-प्रपञ्चम् अनुदञ्चद्-अनुग्रहेण ।
विश्रम्भ-सार-निकुरम्ब-करम्बितेन
वन्देतराम् अघहरस्य वयस्य-वृन्दम् ॥३.३.९॥

yathā —
sāmyena bhīti-vidhureṇa vidhīyamāna-
bhakti-prapañcam anudañcad-anugraheṇa |
viśrambha-sāra-nikuramba-karambitena
vandetarām aghaharasya vayasya-vṛndam
||3.3.9||

English translation

This is expressed in the following verse:
“I offer my respects to the friends of Kṛṣṇa, who serve Him with deep trust, without restriction, without fear, while thinking the He is their equal.”
