The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.151; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ (२६) औत्सुक्यम् —
कालाक्षमत्वम् औत्सुक्यम् इष्टेक्षाप्ति-स्पृहादिभिः ।
मुख-शोष-त्वरा-चिन्ता-निःश्वास-स्थिरतादिकृत् ॥२.४.१५१॥

atha (26) autsukyam —
kālākṣamatvam autsukyam iṣṭekṣāpti-spṛhādibhiḥ |
mukha-śoṣa-tvarā-cintā-niḥśvāsa-sthiratādikṛt
||2.4.151||

English translation

“Inability to tolerate the passing of time, arising from desire to see or attain a desired object is called autsukhyam (impatience). In this state there is drying of the mouth, haste, pondering and prominence of breathing.”
