The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.3.54; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अत्र हर्षेण, यथा —
गोविन्द-प्रेक्षणाक्षेपि-बाष्प-पूराभिवर्षिणम् ।
उच्चैर् अनिन्दद् आनन्दम् अरविन्द-विलोचना ॥२.३.५४॥

atra harṣeṇa, yathā —
govinda-prekṣaṇākṣepi-bāṣpa-pūrābhivarṣiṇam |
uccair anindad ānandam aravinda-vilocanā ||2.3.54||

English translation

From joy:
“The Lotus-eyed Rukmiṇī derided bliss because the flow of tears arising from the bliss blocked her vision of Govinda.”
