The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.213 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

श्रुता स्मृता कीर्तिता च वाञ्छिता प्रेक्षिता गता ।
स्पृष्टा श्रिता सेविता च मथुराभीष्टदा नृणाम् ।
इति ख्यातं पुराणेषु न विस्तार-भियोच्यते ॥१.२.२१३ ॥

śrutā smṛtā kīrtitā ca vāñchitā prekṣitā gatā |
spṛṣṭā śritā sevitā ca mathurābhīṣṭadā nṛṇām |
iti khyātaṃ purāṇeṣu na vistāra-bhiyocyate
||1.2.213 ||

English translation

“Hearing about, remembering, glorifying, desiring, seeing, visiting, touching, taking shelter and serving Mathurā fulfills all the desires of human beings. This has been described in all the Purāṇas. I have not elaborated this here for fear of increasing the volume of this book.”
