This Sanskrit edition of the Skandapurana. It is one of the largest of the eighteen Mahapuranas, covering over 80,000 shlokas (verses). It is divided into seven large section each covering holy regions detailing their background and legends.

īśāneśvarasaṃjñaṃ tu ṣoḍaśaṃ viddhi pārvati |
