आञ्ज॑नगन्धिं सुर॒भिं ब॑ह्व॒न्नामकृ॑षीवलाम् । प्राहं मृ॒गाणां॑ मा॒तर॑मरण्या॒निम॑शंसिषम् ॥
आञ्जनगन्धिं सुरभिं बह्वन्नामकृषीवलाम् । प्राहं मृगाणां मातरमरण्यानिमशंसिषम् ॥
āñjanagandhiṃ surabhim bahvannām akṛṣīvalām | prāham mṛgāṇām mātaram araṇyānim aśaṃsiṣam ||

English translation:

“I praise the musk-scented, fragrant, fertile, uncultivated Araṇyāni, the mother of wild animals.”
