शची॑व॒ इन्द्र॒मव॑से कृणुध्व॒मना॑नतं द॒मय॑न्तं पृत॒न्यून् । ऋ॒भु॒क्षणं॑ म॒घवा॑नं सुवृ॒क्तिं भर्ता॒ यो वज्रं॒ नर्यं॑ पुरु॒क्षुः ॥
शचीव इन्द्रमवसे कृणुध्वमनानतं दमयन्तं पृतन्यून् । ऋभुक्षणं मघवानं सुवृक्तिं भर्ता यो वज्रं नर्यं पुरुक्षुः ॥
śacīva indram avase kṛṇudhvam anānataṃ damayantam pṛtanyūn | ṛbhukṣaṇam maghavānaṃ suvṛktim bhartā yo vajraṃ naryam purukṣuḥ ||

English translation:

“Celebrators of holy rites, select for your protection Indra the unsubdued, the tamer of hostile hosts;mighty, opulent, much glorified, who, loud-shouting, is the bearer of the thunderbolt, which is friendly to man.”
