य॒मो नो॑ गा॒तुं प्र॑थ॒मो वि॑वेद॒ नैषा गव्यू॑ति॒रप॑भर्त॒वा उ॑ । यत्रा॑ न॒: पूर्वे॑ पि॒तर॑: परे॒युरे॒ना ज॑ज्ञा॒नाः प॒थ्या॒३॒॑ अनु॒ स्वाः ॥
यमो नो गातुं प्रथमो विवेद नैषा गव्यूतिरपभर्तवा उ । यत्रा नः पूर्वे पितरः परेयुरेना जज्ञानाः पथ्या अनु स्वाः ॥
yamo no gātum prathamo viveda naiṣā gavyūtir apabhartavā u | yatrā naḥ pūrve pitaraḥ pareyur enā jajñānāḥ pathyā anu svāḥ ||
English translation:
“Yama, the chief (of all), knows our well-being; this pasture no one can take from us; by the road bywhich our forefathers have gone, all who are born (proceed) along the paths they have made for themselveṣ”

Yama...from us: Yama first discovered the path for us; this pasture cannot be taken away from us; the paths theyhave made for themselves: i.e., according to their good and evil conduct
