प्र व॑र्तय दि॒वो अश्मा॑नमिन्द्र॒ सोम॑शितं मघव॒न्त्सं शि॑शाधि । प्राक्ता॒दपा॑क्तादध॒रादुद॑क्ताद॒भि ज॑हि र॒क्षस॒: पर्व॑तेन ॥
प्र वर्तय दिवो अश्मानमिन्द्र सोमशितं मघवन्त्सं शिशाधि । प्राक्तादपाक्तादधरादुदक्तादभि जहि रक्षसः पर्वतेन ॥
pra vartaya divo aśmānam indra somaśitam maghavan saṃ śiśādhi | prāktād apāktād adharād udaktād abhi jahi rakṣasaḥ parvatena ||

English translation:

“Hurl, Indra, your thunderbolt from heaven; sanctify, Maghavan, (the worshipper) sharpened by theSoma; slay with the thunderbolt the rākṣasas, on the eas, on the west, on the south, on the north.”
