ति॒स्रो वाच॒: प्र व॑द॒ ज्योति॑रग्रा॒ या ए॒तद्दु॒ह्रे म॑धुदो॒घमूध॑: । स व॒त्सं कृ॒ण्वन्गर्भ॒मोष॑धीनां स॒द्यो जा॒तो वृ॑ष॒भो रो॑रवीति ॥
तिस्रो वाचः प्र वद ज्योतिरग्रा या एतद्दुह्रे मधुदोघमूधः । स वत्सं कृण्वन्गर्भमोषधीनां सद्यो जातो वृषभो रोरवीति ॥
tisro vācaḥ pra vada jyotiragrā yā etad duhre madhudogham ūdhaḥ | sa vatsaṃ kṛṇvan garbham oṣadhīnāṃ sadyo jāto vṛṣabho roravīti ||
English translation:
“Recite the three sacred texts, preceded by light, which milk the water- yielding udder; for he, theshowerer, (thereby) becoming quickly manifest, loudly roars, engendering the (lightning) infant, the embryo of theplants.”
