अ॒र्धं वी॒रस्य॑ शृत॒पाम॑नि॒न्द्रं परा॒ शर्ध॑न्तं नुनुदे अ॒भि क्षाम् । इन्द्रो॑ म॒न्युं म॑न्यु॒म्यो॑ मिमाय भे॒जे प॒थो व॑र्त॒निं पत्य॑मानः ॥
अर्धं वीरस्य शृतपामनिन्द्रं परा शर्धन्तं नुनुदे अभि क्षाम् । इन्द्रो मन्युं मन्युम्यो मिमाय भेजे पथो वर्तनिं पत्यमानः ॥
ardhaṃ vīrasya śṛtapām anindram parā śardhantaṃ nunude abhi kṣām | indro manyum manyumyo mimāya bheje patho vartanim patyamānaḥ ||
English translation:
“Indra has scattered over the earth the hostile rival of the hero (Sudāsa), the senior of Indra, theappropriator of the oblation; Indra has baffled the wrath of the wratfhful enemy, and the (foe) advancing on theway (against Sudāsa) has taken the path of flight.”
