यन्मन्य॑से॒ वरे॑ण्य॒मिन्द्र॑ द्यु॒क्षं तदा भ॑र । वि॒द्याम॒ तस्य॑ ते व॒यमकू॑पारस्य दा॒वने॑ ॥
यन्मन्यसे वरेण्यमिन्द्र द्युक्षं तदा भर । विद्याम तस्य ते वयमकूपारस्य दावने ॥
yan manyase vareṇyam indra dyukṣaṃ tad ā bhara | vidyāma tasya te vayam akūpārasya dāvane ||
English translation:
“Whatever food you consider desirable, Indra, bestow it; let us be to you (in the relation of your) gift of unlimited sustenance.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Gift of unlimited sustenance: tasya akūpārasya dāvane = in the giving of that unlimited food, annasya or dānasya, gift;
Akupāra = dūrapāra, mahāpa)ra, having a distant or great opposite boundary, also an appellative of the sun and of the ocean; it also means a tortoise, one who does not go into a well, kūpa
