Rig Veda 4.52.5

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

प्रति॑ भ॒द्रा अ॑दृक्षत॒ गवां॒ सर्गा॒ न र॒श्मय॑: । ओषा अ॑प्रा उ॒रु ज्रय॑: ॥
प्रति भद्रा अदृक्षत गवां सर्गा न रश्मयः । ओषा अप्रा उरु ज्रयः ॥
prati bhadrā adṛkṣata gavāṃ sargā na raśmayaḥ | oṣā aprā uru jrayaḥ ||

English translation:

“The auspicious rays are visible like showers of rain, the dawn has filled (the world) with ample light.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Like showers of rain: gavām sargā na: gavām = udakānām, of waters; udakānām sargāḥ = varṣadhārāḥ
