Rig Veda 3.18.4

उच्छो॒चिषा॑ सहसस्पुत्र स्तु॒तो बृ॒हद्वय॑: शशमा॒नेषु॑ धेहि । रे॒वद॑ग्ने वि॒श्वामि॑त्रेषु॒ शं योर्म॑र्मृ॒ज्मा ते॑ त॒न्वं१॒॑ भूरि॒ कृत्व॑: ॥
उच्छोचिषा सहसस्पुत्र स्तुतो बृहद्वयः शशमानेषु धेहि । रेवदग्ने विश्वामित्रेषु शं योर्मर्मृज्मा ते तन्वं भूरि कृत्वः ॥
uc chociṣā sahasas putra stuto bṛhad vayaḥ śaśamāneṣu dhehi | revad agne viśvāmitreṣu śaṃ yor marmṛjmā te tanvam bhūri kṛtvaḥ ||

English translation:

“Rise up, son of strength, with your splendour when hymned, and bestow abundant food and wealth, Agni, upon the descendants of Viśvāmitra celebrating your praise; and grant them exemption from sickness and danger; encourager of pious works (Agni), we repeatedly sprinkle your substance (with milk and butter).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Upon the descendants of Viśvāmitra: viśvāmitreṣu, on the Viśvāmitras, or the plural ral may be used honorifically in the sense of the singular
