व॒व्राजा॑ सी॒मन॑दती॒रद॑ब्धा दि॒वो य॒ह्वीरव॑साना॒ अन॑ग्नाः । सना॒ अत्र॑ युव॒तय॒: सयो॑नी॒रेकं॒ गर्भं॑ दधिरे स॒प्त वाणी॑: ॥
वव्राजा सीमनदतीरदब्धा दिवो यह्वीरवसाना अनग्नाः । सना अत्र युवतयः सयोनीरेकं गर्भं दधिरे सप्त वाणीः ॥
vavrājā sīm anadatīr adabdhā divo yahvīr avasānā anagnāḥ | sanā atra yuvatayaḥ sayonīr ekaṃ garbhaṃ dadhire sapta vāṇīḥ ||
English translation:
“Agni everywhere repairs to the undevouring, undevoured (waters); the vast (offspring) of the firmament, not clothed, yet not naked, seven eternal ever youthfful rivers, sprung from the same source, received Agni as their common embryo.”

Undevouring, undevoured waters: anadatir adabdhā, not extinguishing Agni, nor yet evaporated by him; not clothed: avasānā anagnā, not wearing garments but invested by the water as by a robe
