यया॑ र॒ध्रं पा॒रय॒थात्यंहो॒ यया॑ नि॒दो मु॒ञ्चथ॑ वन्दि॒तार॑म् । अ॒र्वाची॒ सा म॑रुतो॒ या व॑ ऊ॒तिरो षु वा॒श्रेव॑ सुम॒तिर्जि॑गातु ॥
यया रध्रं पारयथात्यंहो यया निदो मुञ्चथ वन्दितारम् । अर्वाची सा मरुतो या व ऊतिरो षु वाश्रेव सुमतिर्जिगातु ॥
yayā radhram pārayathāty aṃho yayā nido muñcatha vanditāram | arvācī sā maruto yā va ūtir o ṣu vāśreva sumatir jigātu ||
English translation:
“Maruts, may that protection wherewith you convey the worshipper beyond sin, wherewith you rescue the reciter of your praise from the scoffer, be present with us; may your benign disposition tend towards us, like a lowing (cow towards her calf).”
