Rig Veda 2.25.3

सिन्धु॒र्न क्षोद॒: शिमी॑वाँ ऋघाय॒तो वृषे॑व॒ वध्रीँ॑र॒भि व॒ष्ट्योज॑सा । अ॒ग्नेरि॑व॒ प्रसि॑ति॒र्नाह॒ वर्त॑वे॒ यंयं॒ युजं॑ कृणु॒ते ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑: ॥
सिन्धुर्न क्षोदः शिमीवाँ ऋघायतो वृषेव वध्रीँरभि वष्ट्योजसा । अग्नेरिव प्रसितिर्नाह वर्तवे यंयं युजं कृणुते ब्रह्मणस्पतिः ॥
sindhur na kṣodaḥ śimīvām̐ ṛghāyato vṛṣeva vadhrīm̐r abhi vaṣṭy ojasā | agner iva prasitir nāha vartave yaṃ-yaṃ yujaṃ kṛṇute brahmaṇas patiḥ ||

English translation:

“As a river (washes away) its banks, so the devout worshipper, (of Brahmaṇaspati), overpowers his enemies by his strength, as a bull (overcomes) an ox; like the spreading flame of fire, it is impossible to stop him, whom Brahmaṇaspati makes his associate.”
