प्रति॑ व ए॒ना नम॑सा॒हमे॑मि सू॒क्तेन॑ भिक्षे सुम॒तिं तु॒राणा॑म् । र॒रा॒णता॑ मरुतो वे॒द्याभि॒र्नि हेळो॑ ध॒त्त वि मु॑चध्व॒मश्वा॑न् ॥
प्रति व एना नमसाहमेमि सूक्तेन भिक्षे सुमतिं तुराणाम् । रराणता मरुतो वेद्याभिर्नि हेळो धत्त वि मुचध्वमश्वान् ॥
prati va enā namasāham emi sūktena bhikṣe sumatiṃ turāṇām | rarāṇatā maruto vedyābhir ni heḻo dhatta vi mucadhvam aśvān ||
English translation:
“I approach you, Maruts, with this reverential homage, and with a hymn implore your favour against eager (foes); with minds pacified by our praises, suppress your anger, and let loose your horses.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
I.e. take the horses out of your car, that you may not come back to the sacrifice in anger
