ए॒तेना॑ग्ने॒ ब्रह्म॑णा वावृधस्व॒ शक्ती॑ वा॒ यत्ते॑ चकृ॒मा वि॒दा वा॑ । उ॒त प्र णे॑ष्य॒भि वस्यो॑ अ॒स्मान्त्सं न॑: सृज सुम॒त्या वाज॑वत्या ॥
एतेनाग्ने ब्रह्मणा वावृधस्व शक्ती वा यत्ते चकृमा विदा वा । उत प्र णेष्यभि वस्यो अस्मान्त्सं नः सृज सुमत्या वाजवत्या ॥
etenāgne brahmaṇā vāvṛdhasva śaktī vā yat te cakṛmā vidā vā | uta pra ṇeṣy abhi vasyo asmān saṃ naḥ sṛja sumatyā vājavatyā ||

English translation:

“. Agni, do your thrive through this our prayer, which we make according to our ability, according to our knowledge; do you, therefore, lead us to opulence, and endow us with right understanding securing (abundant) food.”
