The Garga-samhita Verse 6.6.20, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 6 (The Yadavas’ Victory When Shri Rukmini is Kidnapped) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

अन्ये ऽपि चैद्य-पक्षीया
योद्धुं श्री-कृष्ण-सम्मुखे
धनुष् टङ्कारयन्तस् ते
समाजग्मुः सहस्रशः

anye 'pi caidya-pakṣīyā
yoddhuṃ śrī-kṛṣṇa-sammukhe
dhanuṣ ṭaṅkārayantas te
samājagmuḥ sahasraśaḥ

anye—others; api—also; caidya-pakṣīyā—the allies of Sisupala; yoddhum—to fight; śrī-kṛṣṇa-sammukhe—in the presence of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; dhanuḥ—bows; ṭaṅkārayantaḥ—twanging; te—they; samājagmuḥ—came; sahasraśaḥ—by the thousands.

English translation of verse 6.6.20:

Thousands of others, the allies of Śisupāla, also came, twanging their bows, to fight with Kṛṣṇa.
