The Garga-samhita Verse 6.4.4, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 4 (Journey to the City of Kundina) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

श्रुत्वैकदा पुरा सा वै
मन्-मुखाच् छ्री-हरेर् गुणान्
परिपूर्णतमं तं वै
स मेने सादृशं पतिम्

śrutvaikadā purā sā vai
man-mukhāc chrī-harer guṇān
paripūrṇatamaṃ taṃ vai
sa mene sādṛśaṃ patim

śrutvāhearing; ekadāonce; purābefore; sā—she; vai—inded; man-mukhāt—from my mouth; chrī-hareḥof Lord Kṛṣṇa; guṇān—the virtues; paripūrṇatamam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; tam—Him; vai—indeed; sa—she; mene—considered; sādṛśam—like Him; patim—husband.

English translation of verse 6.4.4:

From my mouth she once heard the transcendental virtues of Lord Kṛṣṇa. From that day she thought of attaining a husband like Him, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
