pibanto rudhiraṃ śaśvat
kapālena nṛpeśvara
harasya muṇḍa-mālārthaṃ
jagṛhus te sirāṃsi ca

pibantaḥ—drinking; rudhiram—blood; śaśvatagain and again; kapālena—with a skull; nṛpeśvara—O king of kings; harasya—of Lord Śiva; muṇḍa-mālārtham—for the garland of skulls; jagṛhuḥ—took; te—they; sirāṃsi—heads; ca—and.

English translation of verse 6.1.31:

O king of kings, again and again they drank the blood of the dead. They gathered many skulls for Lord Śiva's garland of skulls.
