The Garga-samhita Verse 5.20.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 20 (The Liberation of Ribhu Muni During the Rasa-dance Festival) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

मत्-समानाश्रया गोप्यो
गदितुं न क्षमाः क्वचित्
सरच्-चन्द्र-चकोरीव
मयूरीव घनं नवम्

mat-samānāśrayā gopyo
gadituṃ na kṣamāḥ kvacit
sarac-candra-cakorīva
mayūrīva ghanaṃ navam

mat-samānalike me; āśrayā—taken shelter; gopyaḥgopīs; gaditum—to speak; na—not; kṣamāḥable; kvacit—at all; saratautumn; candramoon; cakorī—cakori bird; iva—like; mayūrīpeahen; iva—like; ghanam—a cloud; navam—new.

English translation of verse 5.20.15:

The other gopīs, like Me, also could not describe that enemy of separation. I was like a cakorī bird yearning for the moon, or a peahen yearning for the new monsoon cloud.
