The Garga-samhita Verse 5.4.19, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 4 (The Journey to Shri Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

यो मित्रतां निष्कपटं करोति
निष्कारणो धन्यतमः स एव
विधाय मैत्रीं कपटं विदध्यात्
तं लम्पटं हेतु-पटं नटं धिक्

yo mitratāṃ niṣkapaṭaṃ karoti
niṣkāraṇo dhanyatamaḥ sa eva
vidhāya maitrīṃ kapaṭaṃ vidadhyāt
taṃ lampaṭaṃ hetu-paṭaṃ naṭaṃ dhik

yaḥ—who; mitratām—to friendship; niṣkapaṭam—sincere; karotidoes; niṣkāraṇaḥ—unselfish; dhanyatamaḥ—most fortunate; sa—he; eva—indeed; vidhāya—placing; maitrīm—friendship; kapaṭam—insincere; vidadhyāt—should place; tam—that; lampaṭam—a debauchee; hetureason; paṭam—dressed; naṭam—an actor; dhik—fie!

English translation of verse 5.4.19:

An unselfish and sincere friend is the most fortunate of persons. Fie on one who is only an actor pretending to be a friend!
