गृहाण तासां व्रज-देव पाणीन्
दत्त्वा परं दर्शनम् अद्भुतं स्वम्
गच्छाशु सिन्धून् विशदी-कुरु त्वं
विमृश्य कर्तव्यम् इदं त्वया हि
gṛhāṇa tāsāṃ vraja-deva pāṇīn
dattvā paraṃ darśanam adbhutaṃ svam
gacchāśu sindhūn viśadī-kuru tvaṃ
vimṛśya kartavyam idaṃ tvayā hi
gṛhāṇa—please accept; tāsām—them; vraja-deva—O Lord of Vraja; pāṇīn—the hands; dattvā—giving; param—great; darśanam—sight; adbhutam—wonderful; svam—own; gaccha—please go; āśu—at once; sindhūn—to Sindhu-desa; viśadī-kuru—please purify; tvam—You; vimṛśya—considering; kartavyam—what should be done; idam—this; tvayā—by You; hi—indeed.
English translation of verse 4.7.12:
O Lord of Vraja, please give them your wonderful audience and accept their hands in marriage. Pkease consider what should be done, and then please quickly go and purify Sindhu-deśa with Your presence.
