अद्य त्वं ज्ञाति-सम्भ्रष्टम्
पृथाङ् मन्यामहे नृप
न चेच् छीघ्रं नन्द-राजम्
त्यज त्यज महा-मते

adya tvaṃ jñāti-sambhraṣṭam
pṛthāṅ manyāmahe nṛpa
na cec chīghraṃ nanda-rājam
tyaja tyaja mahā-mate

adyanow; tvam—you; jñātifrom the community; sambhraṣṭam—fallen; pṛthān—specific; manyāmahe—we think; nṛpaO king; na—not; cec—if; chīghram—for a long time; nanda-rājam—King nanda; tyaja—reject; tyaja—reject; mahā-mate—O noble-hearted one.

English translation of verse 3.5.29:

If you do not for a long time sever your ties of friendship with King Nanda, we will ostracize you from our community. O noble-hearted one, reject, reject King Nanda.
