यत्-प्रसादस् तु गोपीनां
प्राप्तो राजन् महा-मते
ज्ञानिनाम् अपि नास्त्य् एवं
कर्मिणां तु कुतश् च सः
yat-prasādas tu gopīnāṃ
prāpto rājan mahā-mate
jñāninām api nāsty evaṃ
karmiṇāṃ tu kutaś ca saḥ
yat—of whom; prasādaḥ—the mercy; tu—indeed; gopīnām—of ther gopīs; prāptaḥ—attained; rājan—O king; mahā-mate—O noble-hearted; jñāninām—of the great philosophers; api—also; na—not; asti—is; evam—thus; karmiṇām—of the karmis; tu—indeed; kutaḥ—where?; ca—and; saḥ—He.
English translation of verse 2.24.27:
O noble-hearted king, the gopīs attained mercy even the greatest philosophers, what to speak of fruitive workers, cannot attain.
