पुनः कृष्णाय प्रददौ
कवलं च वरूथपः
अन्यान् बालांस् तथा सर्वान्
किञ्चित् किञ्चित् प्रयत्नतः
punaḥ kṛṣṇāya pradadau
kavalaṃ ca varūthapaḥ
anyān bālāṃs tathā sarvān
kiñcit kiñcit prayatnataḥ
punaḥ—again; kṛṣṇāya—to Kṛṣṇa; pradadau—gave; kavalam—a morsel; ca—and; varūthapaḥ—varūthapa; anyān—to the other; bālān—boys; tathā—then; sarvān—all; kiñcit—something; kiñcit—something; prayatnataḥ—carefully.
English translation of verse 2.7.21:
Then Varūthapa earnestly gave a morsel to Kṛṣṇa and all the other boys.
