The Garga-samhita Verse 2.7.21, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 7 (Kidnapping of the Calves and Cowherd Boys) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

पुनः कृष्णाय प्रददौ
कवलं च वरूथपः
अन्यान् बालांस् तथा सर्वान्
किञ्चित् किञ्चित् प्रयत्नतः

punaḥ kṛṣṇāya pradadau
kavalaṃ ca varūthapaḥ
anyān bālāṃs tathā sarvān
kiñcit kiñcit prayatnataḥ

punaḥ—again; kṛṣṇāya—to Kṛṣṇa; pradadau—gave; kavalama morsel; ca—and; varūthapaḥ—varūthapa; anyān—to the other; bālān—boys; tathā—then; sarvān—all; kiñcitsomething; kiñcit—something; prayatnataḥ—carefully.

English translation of verse 2.7.21:

Then Varūthapa earnestly gave a morsel to Kṛṣṇa and all the other boys.
