परिपूर्णतमां कृष्णां
तस्मात् कृष्णस्य नन्द-राट्
परिपूर्णतमस्यापि
पत्त-राज्ञिं विदुर् जनाः
paripūrṇatamāṃ kṛṣṇāṃ
tasmāt kṛṣṇasya nanda-rāṭ
paripūrṇatamasyāpi
patta-rājñiṃ vidur janāḥ
paripūrṇatamam—the supreme; kṛṣṇam—the Yamunā; tasmāt—from that; kṛṣṇasya—of Kṛṣṇa; nanda-rāṭ—King Nanda; paripūrṇatamasya—of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; api—even; paṭṭarājñim—the most important queen; viduḥ—know; janāḥ—the people.
English translation of verse 2.3.3:
O king Nanda, for this reason the people know that the Yamunā is the greatest of rivers and the first queen of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
