तेषु नेदुर् मधुकरा
नदन्तश् चित्र-पक्षिणः
शीतला मन्द-यानाश् च
गन्धाक्ता वयवो ववुः

teṣu nedur madhukarā
nadantaś citra-pakṣiṇaḥ
śītalā manda-yānāś ca
gandhāktā vayavo vavuḥ

teṣu—among them; neduḥ—sounded; madhukarāḥ—bees; nadantaḥhumming; citracolorful; pakṣiṇaḥ—birds; śītalāḥcool; manda-yānāḥ—slowly moving; ca—and; gandhāktāḥ—fragrant; vayavaḥ—breezes; vavuḥ—blew.

English translation of verse 1.11.18:

Bees hummed, colorful birds sang, and fragrant cooling breezes gently blew.
