इत्थं महोत्कटह् कंसह्
स निपात्योद्भटान् रिपून्
क्रोधाढ्यो राज-राजेन्द्रो
जग्राह पितरं खलह्
itthaṃ mahotkaṭah kaṃsah
sa nipātyodbhaṭān ripūn
krodhāḍhyo rāja-rājendro
jagrāha pitaraṃ khalah
ittham—thus; mahotkaṭah—arrogant; kaṃsah—Kaṃsa; sah—he; nipātya—falling; udbhaṭān—on the soldiers; ripūn—enemy; krodha—with anger; aḍhyah—rich; rāja-rājendrah—the king of kings of kings; jagrāha—grabbed; pitaram—his father; khalah—demon.
English translation of verse 1.10.21:
In this way Kaṃsa fell upon the enemy soldiers. Then, rich with anger, the demonic king of the kings of kings grabbed his father.
