The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.41, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. मार्गे च कौषला नर्यो
रामं दृट्ट्वाति-सुन्दरम्
मनसा वव्रिरे तं वै
पतिं कन्दर्प-मोहनम्

mārge ca kauṣalā naryo
rāmaṃ dṛṭṭvāti-sundaram
manasā vavrire taṃ vai
patiṃ kandarpa-mohanam

mārge—on the road; ca—also; kauṣalāḥ naryaḥthe women of Koṣala; rāmam—Lord Rāma; dṛṭṭvā—seeing; ati—very; sundaram—handsome; manasāwith their hearts; vavrire—chose; tam—Him; vai—indeed; patim—as their husband; kandarpathan many Kāmadevas; mohanam—charming.

English translation of verse 1.4.41:

Seeing on the path very handsome Lord Rāma, who is more charming than a host of Kāmadevas, the women of Koṣala in their hearts chose Him to be their husband.
